Pantech has launched its first 4G LTE phone with AT&T at an affordable price and named it Pantech Burst. Company was not successful in establishing its mark with its earlier phones such as Pantech Crossover and Pantech Pocket.

So, this time Pantech, in association with AT&T, is all set with its brand-new pocket-friendly phone. The key features of Burst are: 5 MP primary camera, super AMOLED screen, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, Adreno 220 GPU etc. Let’s explore the specifications of this phone in detail

The Pantech Burst runs on Android v2.3.5 (Gingerbread) operating system, 1.5 GHz scorpion dual-core processor, Qualcomm MSM8660 Snapdragon system chipset and Adreno 220 GPU.

This phone features 1GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory (can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card slot). In terms of cofiguration, this phone is packed with latest hardware under the hood.

The Pantech Burst comes in black color and it is equipped with 4 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, which offers 256K colors and 480 x 800 pixels (223 ppi pixel density) of screen resolution.

This phone supports multitouch, accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor and compass sensors. In terms of dimensions, it measures 126.5 x 62.5 x 11.4 mm and weighs about 122.5 grams (including battery).

The Pantech Burst is shipped with standard Li-Ion 1650 mAh battery which offers talk time of 4 hours 30 minutes and lasts up to 240 hours on stand-by mode. Pantech could have done better in terms of battery back-up as 1650 mAh battery is not sufficient for HSPA+ connectivity.

This phone sports 5MP rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and geo-tagging features. You can do video recording at 720p at the rate of 19 frames per second. It also has VGA front-facing camera.
