Samsung Galaxy Note measures 146.9 x 83 x9.7mm and weighs 178g whereas Samsung Galaxy Nexus is 135.5 x 67.9 x 8.9mm in size and weighs 135g. Galaxy Nexus includes the best of the features. If compared with Galaxy Note in terms of appearance, it scores more. It is quite crisp and sleek and looks similar to a business phone. Whereas Galaxy Note has a 5.3-inch screen and includes the features of both a smartphone and tablet. It is a pocket-friendly handset. The handset is durable and does not give a plastic feel.
Camera
Samsung is always very particular about incorporating the best of the cameras in its smartphones. Galaxy Note comes with an 8MP camera. It is packed with many excellent features like LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging etc. The video can be recorded at 1080p. This high resolution ensures that the videos do not appear to be hazy.

The best feature of Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the operating system it runs. It uses Android Ice Cream Sandwich which is the latest update from Google. If you are using Galaxy Nexus, waiting for updates will no longer be required. Moreover, Google dictates the OS and not Samsung.
ICS is packed with excellent features. It is more stable and faster than other versions of Android. It is very impressive with additional features like more apps and face detection.

Galaxy Note runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It is a decent version of Android OS but does not offer as many functions as ICS does.
