The Sprint ZTE Optik is packed with Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) operating system, Qualcomm MSM8660 Snapdragon chipset and 1.2 GHz dual-core Scorpion processor.   This tablet is powered by 1GB RAM, 16GB onboard memory (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot).

The Sprint ZTE Optik features 7 inches capacitive touch screen, which offers screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels (216 ppi pixel density). In terms of sensors, its display supports accelerometer sensor and compass sensor, but lack of ambient light sensor for automatic display intensity adjustment is a drawback of this 7 inches tablet.

The ZTE Optik is available online from 5th February 2012 and can be purchased from Sprint stores from 11th March 2012 at an approximate price of $99 with a two year contract and at an approximate price of $349.99 without contract. Sprint offers fours plans as per usage precisely for tablets.

For 1 GB of data carrier charges $19.99, for 3 GB of data users have to pay $34.99, for 6 GB of data price goes up to $49.99 and for 12 GB of data Sprint charges $79.99. There is no word from the company yet about the availability and price of this device in Indian market.
