At CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2012, held in Las Vegas, Mobile manufactures showed their best smartphones ever. HTC Titan II

The HTC Titan II is a windows phone which runs on AT&T network. The highlights of this smartphone are 16MP rear-facing, 1.3MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity.

This phone is packed with Windows 7.5 Mango OS and single-core 1.5GHz CPU. The 4.7 inches physical size of HTC Titan II supports S-LCD technology and offers 480 x 800 pixels of screen resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Note

In association with AT&T, Samsung revealed its another galaxy series smartphone i.e. Galaxy Note. It is a tablet cum smartphone and this is the best part of this phone due to which it was in limelight at CES 2012.  The Galaxy note runs on Android 2.6 (gingerbread) OS with dual-core 1.4 GHz CPU.

The gadget is equipped with 5.3 inches Super AMOLED capacitive HD screen that offers 1280×800 pixels of screen resolution. In order to attract smartphone lovers Samsung introduced S Pen that can be used to write details on its screen. This phone has 8MP primary camera and 2MP front-facing camera.

The approximate price of Samsung Galaxy Note is $669.99 or INR 32,500.

Nokia Lumia 900

Nokia unveiled its first LTE (4G) smartphone at CES 2012 i.e. Lumia 900 and as per Chris Weber (President of Nokia) it will run on AT&T network. Being a big brother of Lumia 710 it is powered by Windows 7.5 Mango OS, 1.4 GHz scorpion CPU, 512 MB RAM and 16GB on-board memory.

This phone is equipped with 4.3 inches AMOLED ClearBlack touchscreen which offers 800 x 480pixels of screen resolution. The Lumia 900 is equipped with 8MP rear-facing camera with dual LED flash and Carl Zeiss optics. This phone also features 1.3MP front-facing camera for video conferencing.

The approximate price of Nokia Lumia 900 is $99.99 with contract.

Sony Xperia S

After splitting from Ericsson, Sony introduced its first smartphone i.e. Sony Xperia S. This phone is powered by Android 2.3 gingerbread OS (upgradable to Android 4.0 ICS), dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM and 16/32GB internal memory.

In association with Verizon Wireless, Motorola came up with another Droid series phone i.e. Motorola Droid Razr Maxx. This phone runs on dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and PowerVR SGX540 GPU. The 4.5 inches AMOLED capacitive touch screen of this phone offers 540 x 960 pixels of screen resolution.
